Hello, world — why this site exists

This site is my studio’s front door. I design typography, letterforms, and books — and lately I have been learning to build for the web and for iOS.

I plan to write about three things here:

Lettering and type — process notes, sketches, what works and what fails.
Learning in public — building this site from scratch taught me Git, DNS, and static site generators. Notes like that live here.
Tools — Obsidian workflows, design tooling, whatever earns its place on my desk.
